General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
Our General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program at Athena Institute of Nursing provides you with the perfect platform to kickstart your career in nursing and midwifery. With a comprehensive curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, and experienced faculty, we ensure that you receive the best education and training to become a competent and compassionate nurse.
Program Overview:
Duration:The GNM program typically spans over a period of three and a half years, including both theoretical learning and practical training.
Curriculum:Our curriculum is meticulously designed to cover various aspects of nursing, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, nursing care, midwifery, community health nursing, and more. Through a combination of classroom lectures, laboratory sessions, and hands-on clinical experiences, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of nursing.
Clinical Training:We prioritize hands-on clinical training to ensure that our students are well-prepared to handle real-world healthcare scenarios with confidence and proficiency. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in leading hospitals and healthcare facilities, gaining invaluable practical experience.
To be eligible for admission into the GNM program at Athena Institute of Nursing, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board or university.
Age Limit: The minimum age for admission is 17 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. (Age relaxation may be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms).
B.Sc Nursing

Course Detail :
Duration: The B.Sc Nursing program is a four-year undergraduate degree program that combines comprehensive theoretical learning with extensive clinical training.
Curriculum: Our rigorous curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, community health nursing, and much more. Through a blend of classroom instruction, laboratory work, and clinical rotations, students develop a deep understanding of nursing principles and practices.
Clinical Training:Practical training is an integral part of our B.Sc Nursing program. Students gain hands-on experience through supervised clinical rotations in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health centers, under the guidance of experienced nursing professionals.
Certification:Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) degree, recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences.
To be eligible for admission into the B.Sc Nursing program at Athena Institute of Nursing, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Entrance Exam: Some institutions may require candidates to qualify in a relevant entrance examination, such as the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for admission to B.Sc Nursing programs.
